Domestic Showstoppers

In I want... on July 29, 2010 at 3:29 pm

Sometimes ordinary just doesn’t quite cut it.

There’s a common theme amongst the following objects. All somewhat inspired by the ordinary, the artists have twisted and satirized the traditional and created outrageous works of art for the home. Not for the weak-hearted, these domestic showstoppers are all looking for a home and no doubt come with a very hefty price tag. While Messy Nessy can only dream of squeezing some of these pieces through her doorway, would you be brave enough to display something like this in your living room?
